My Grandma was a badass. Born in Barberton, Ohio, Marsha Jean Rose became a painter, a Christian missionary, and a caring woman devoted to life-long learning. She graduated from college in her 70’s.
From her, I learned the value and beauty of creating something with my hands, like the painting she made that is now above my bed, greeting me every morning. Along with an art appreciation, we both share a love for reusing, hoarding supplies, and hobby hopping.
