The Emerald Coast
“Working to preserve and enhance the quality of life in Northwest Florida.”
Emerald Coast Regional Council( ECRC) is one of ten regional planning councils in Florida. ECRC supports northwest Florida by planning for and coordinating intergovernmental solutions to growth-related problems, providing technical assistance to local governments, and meeting the needs of the municipalities in our seven-county region: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Washington, and Holmes. Solutions include professional technical assistance, planning, coordinating, and advisory services to local governments, state and federal agencies, and the public.
In August 2020, amidst the global shutdown, ECRC gave me a seat at the table. Relocating to Florida immediately following hurricane Sally wasn’t ideal, but it was trial-by-fire I needed to prepare for the work ahead. With ECRC, I serve the people as a Public Involvement Coordinator, focusing my efforts on simplifying technical language and bridging gaps between board members and the public in the form of video creation, meeting facilitation, hybrid AV expertise, public speaking, graphic design, content creation, website maintenance and enhancement, a general communication strategist.

RideOn Commuter Services
“RideOn is a quick and secure way to find your best commuting options. We believe that transportation is about connecting people with places and experiences, and how we get there matters—now and in the future. ”
That’s why we offer free transportation programs and strategies to anyone in our 16-county region-- from forward-thinking leaders in business and government to individuals traveling to work or school. Fully funded by a grant from FDOT District 3, our programs focus on work commuters and adult students and are offered to the public at no charge.
My role with the RideOn program focused on providing visuals and videos to further brand knowledge and engagement on the ridesharing app or at events.
